Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience only. If there is any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 1. Purpose and Scope

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") set out the conditions for participating in the affiliate program (the "Program") provided by the sitemora operator (the "Operator"). Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the sitemora Terms of Service.

Article 2. Participation

  1. Anyone wishing to join the Program must apply through the designated form.
  2. The Operator reviews and approves applications. Approval may be granted automatically.
  3. The Operator may decline or revoke approval in cases of false applications, past violations of these Terms, or where the Operator otherwise deems participation inappropriate. The reason may not be disclosed.

Article 3. Referral Links and Conversions

  1. Each participant is issued a dedicated referral link.
  2. A "Conversion" occurs when a referred user subscribes to a paid plan and completes their first payment within 60 days of clicking the referral link.
  3. Conversions are determined based on the Operator's records. A conversion may not be recorded due to ad blockers, deletion of cookies or browser storage, registration on a different device, and similar circumstances.

Article 4. Rewards

  1. The reward for each Conversion is 30% of the referred user's first payment (tax included). For monthly plans this is the first month's payment; for annual plans, the first year's payment. Second and subsequent payments are not eligible.
  2. Referred users receive a 20% discount on their first payment. Rewards are calculated based on the discounted payment amount.
  3. Rewards are "pending" at the time of the Conversion and become "confirmed" once 30 days have passed since the Conversion.
  4. The reward for a Conversion is cancelled if any of the following occurs before it is confirmed:
    • A refund of the first payment
    • A chargeback (reversal of the payment through the card issuer)
    • Cancellation of the subscription or non-payment
  5. If a violation of Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct) is discovered after confirmation, the Operator may cancel confirmed or paid rewards and request their return.

Article 5. Payouts

  1. Once the total of confirmed unpaid rewards reaches ¥5,000 or more, the participant may request a payout from the dashboard.
  2. Payouts are made via Stripe Connect to the bank account registered by the participant. A Stripe Connect account and completed identity verification are required.
  3. Stripe payout fees, account fees, and other costs are borne by the participant and deducted from the rewards.
  4. Payout timing depends on the Operator's processing. If a review by the Operator is required, the payout may take longer.
  5. Reward amounts are inclusive of tax, and the Operator does not issue qualified invoices (under Japan's Qualified Invoice System). Participants are responsible for filing and paying any taxes on their rewards.

Article 6. Prohibited Conduct

Participants must not:

  1. Refer themselves, or other accounts or related parties under their control (self-referral)
  2. Promote the Service using false or misleading claims (exaggerating features, pricing, or results, implying official endorsement by the Operator, etc.)
  3. Promote through spam email, indiscriminate messaging, or disruptive posts on other sites
  4. Bid on search ads keywords containing "sitemora" or any other name of the Operator
  5. Generate referral link clicks fraudulently (automated clicks, forced redirects, improper cookie stuffing, etc.)
  6. Generate Conversions through stolen cards or other fraudulent payments
  7. Promote in ways that violate laws, public order and morals, or the rights of third parties
  8. Engage in any other conduct the Operator deems inappropriate

Article 7. Measures for Violations

If the Operator determines that a participant has violated, or is likely to violate, these Terms, the Operator may take the following measures without prior notice:

  1. Cancel the relevant rewards or withhold payment
  2. Request the return of rewards already paid
  3. Suspend or revoke eligibility to participate in the Program

Article 8. Withdrawal and Termination of the Program

  1. Participants may withdraw at any time. Confirmed unpaid rewards of ¥5,000 or more at the time of withdrawal can be received by requesting a payout. Unpaid rewards under ¥5,000 and pending rewards are forfeited upon withdrawal.
  2. The Operator may change or terminate the Program with at least 30 days' notice. Rewards confirmed at the time of termination will be paid by a method determined by the Operator.

Article 9. Changes to These Terms

The Operator may change these Terms. Changes unfavorable to participants, such as to the reward rate or confirmation conditions, will be notified at least 30 days in advance. New conditions apply to Conversions that occur after the change.

Article 10. Disclaimer

The Operator is not liable for any damage to participants arising from unrecorded Conversions, system failures, or malfunctions of Stripe or other external services, except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Supplementary Provisions

  • These Terms apply from the date the reward confirmation conditions (30-day hold) are reflected in the Service.
  • Rewards already "confirmed" before the effective date are handled under the previous conditions.
